Christmas Revealed

This Christmas, I thought I’d try to give you something to talk about with your children, extended family, and even your friends at the usual office party.

You see, it occurs to me that we as born-again Christians should do our best to find and preach Christ in everything we see...especially Christmas, which means “more Christ.”

Here are some things in Christmas, mostly about Santa Clause, where Jesus can be preached.

1. Santa’s name is Kris Kringle. The Germans called him Christkindl which means Christ Child and gift-bringer.

2. Santa’s favorite saying is Ho, Ho, Ho short for Holy, Holy, Holy which is what the Angles sing 24/7 as they fly around the throne of God in Heaven (Isaiah 6:3).

3. Santa’s purpose is found under a tree by placing gifts for you. Jesus' purpose is found on a tree (the Cross) where he left the gift of eternal life for you that washes away all our sin.

4. Santa’s suit is traditionally red and white. The red symbolizes the blood of Christ. The white symbolizes our sinless garments and how we look to God the Father, because of the blood of Christ.

“What can wash away my sin, nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again, nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh precious is the flow that makes me white as snow. “

5. Finally, we sing a song about Santa’s making a list, checking it twice, he’s gonna find out whose naughty and nice, Santa Clause is coming to town as a favorite during Christmas caroling. I want you to know that Jesus took the list of all your naughty things and nailed it to the tree, the cross. The only list he has today is found in the book of life and it will be checked once at the judgment.

Jesus came from heaven, passed through hell, not a chimney, arrived at a tree and offers us the greatest gift of all time, His life and with it, salvation, Heaven.

Now all that remains is your decision to accept or reject his gift. What will you do today?

You better watch out (watch and pray), better not cry (have faith in God). Jesus Christ is coming to town!

He’s coming back! Merry Christmas
